How many flowers in a bouqet?

I am getting married in February and have decided I want white roses and white lisianthus for my bouqet (thanks to many of you who helped me with my question : ))

I only have my sister as my maid of honor and thats it, so Im wondering, how many roses/lisianthus do I need for my bouqet, and how many for my sisters? (hers should be a little smaller, right?)

If any of you can tell me a range (20-25? etc) that would be great. I am really considering doing them myself as they are the only two bouqets, and having a local florist do the boutineers and corsages, so I will save some money.

Im going to start calling florists in my area and asking them for a price quote for just the bouts and corsages and then one that includes the bouqets to see what it will cost me, I just thought it would be helpful for me to be able to say " I want a hand-tied bouqet of 15 roses and 10 lisianthus" so that I can get a better quote without having to travel from store to store.

How many flowers in a bouqet?
12 is the average sized bouquet, so i would go with 12.
Reply:TWO
Reply:11 roses symbolizes [one love in one's lifetime] - read that somewhere but totally forgot where...
Reply:I would think a dozen flowers is enough
Reply:Why dont you make it the equal distribution like ten-ten..it will look nice, if you have small hands then it would be too many to look at as if drowning your pretty small hands..but if your hands are the noraml big ones..then 15-20 of that combination is ok..ohh..what is important is you are going to be a bride..and luckier the one who will catch your bouquet when you throw it...wish I were there to witness this alll.................congratulations....... Best wishes to both of you!!!!!!!And more kids to come................
