This site has information on every possible fundraising idea:

They don't sell anything, but they really have great advice on how to make more money with any type of fundraising event, product sale, raffle, yard sale, car wash, donation request, or fundraiser.
Reply:It's going to be hard to blag this without actually lying! There is a lot of competition for these jobs and someone else will always have more experience than you. All I can suggest is that you give a lot of detail about the school fundraising you did and be vague about how long ago it was.

Why don't you volunteer to do some fundraising for some other orgs and get the experience to enable you to apply for a paid job?
